OK, so the lasagne was *mostly* local. The flour, parmigiano and spices were not (I claim exemptions!) but the milk, eggs, beef, bacon and tomato sauce, with its onions, garlic and basil, all were, plus some local sage. And the wine we brought was from Carneros. AND we walked it over from a block away. :)

The Becks & Posh food blog was started in 5 minutes on a whim. Back in May 2004 then work colleague, Tim, was perhaps a little tired of hearing Sam rattle on about food all day long. The term Posh and Becks is commonly used by newspapers and other media, especially in headlines, and has become an expression that is widely used and recognized within popular culture in the United Kingdom. In popular college culture the term has also been use to describe the relationship of Matt Pempkowski and Adrianna Zbik. The term Posh and Becks has also found its way into Cockney Rhyming Slang, referring to sex.Posh and Becks started dating in 1997, which led to the use of the term by the popular media. Their celebrity wedding took place in 1999 and the home in Hertfordshire, England, that they bought shortly afterwards has been nicknamed Beckingham Palace a portmanteau of Buckingham Palace and the name Beckham.
