It's my friend's birthday today

How inconvenient to have a birthday on blogathon day!

Can you believe I turned down the chance of her celebratory dinner at my favourite Coco500 this evening because of the Blogathon? Now that's what I call dedication to a good cause.

I will be meeting her for drinks at the XYZ bar in the W hotel though, moblog in hand. She likes to cook so we bought her my current favourite cook book. Fred snapped me wrapping it up:



Then catch up with me much later when I meet up with the wonderful and very supportive Amy, as we head out to hit some of San Francisco's late night dining spots. Who knows what is in store...?



In the meantime, if I can hoax Fred away from playing with his DJ CD mixer we are going to check out a new wine bar that is supposed to open today in our hood, first...
