beeT-Shirt
Inspired, perhaps, by a visit to a Lotta Prints Party in SF, My friend Del4yo threw a hands-on T-Shirt-printing party of her own.
Lotta Love
More Lotta Love
I really wanted to do a radish print, but I thought it would be too difficult so I decided to make a beetroot stencil instead. Trouble is, everyone seems to think it is a radish anyway. This was fun. I think I should be crafty more often.

It could be an either or (radish beetroot). Does this mean you will be making T-shirts for everyone!

How funny! I kept waiting for you to get to the bee tee, because I'm all about bees lately. But you meant "beet-shirt," not "bee t-shirt."
Naturally I'd put bees on mine. Though not a vegetable, they do produce something delicious.

I am Delphine's biggest fan. Darn. Didn't get to THAT party.
I would do an artichoke. Maybe even with the blooming purple thistle.
CUTE!

It's so adorable!
I'm horribly uncrafty so I'm just that more impressed by those who are.

I love that idea! What kind of paper did you use? I'd like to try that! I'd probably do a fruit, maybe oranges or lemons, or both!

Biggles - I was wondering why I hadn't thought of bacon afterwards. Cos - of course, bacon is a vegetable ;P
For those who asked, I am seeing Delphine tonight so i will try and check and see what the materials used are/where and leave a link.

Dillon printed a t-shirt recently, he made a stencil and used spray paint...it worked and survived the washing machine.
I'd probably choose carrots or peppers if I were to make a t-shirt.

Stripey heirloom tomatoes all the way! Those lovely Marvel Stripes all golden and rose with a twisty bottom... mmmmm
(though i have NO idea how one would make a tomato stencil that didn't look like a blob...)

I would do a long string bean - principally because I am not one in either direction. Love.

Just beet it, beet it, beet it, beet it
No one wants to be radished
Showin' how funky cool is your beet
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beet it, beet it
Just beet it, beet it
Just beet it, beet it
Just beet it, beet it
Hahem. I shall post a tutorial someday when I'm finished with posting procrastination.
Thanks for coming to the party Sam :)

What an adorable T-shirt!
OK, I know it's not a veg, but my pick would be kumquats. I just think they're the cutest citrus ever.
