ReplyDeleteI sampled the housemade chicharonnes from the Fatted Calf last week and I can't them out of my mind.
ReplyDeleteWe had a lecture on plating this morning at school (I'm a culinary school student) and it is the bowl that grabbed my attention - so delicate, so perfect for the dish.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference the details make.
Cheers!
Ugh...I was hoping they were really not THAT good. I keep seeing them and thinking I shouldn't even go there but now I'm definitely in
ReplyDeleteAlas, I need to find them in the South Bay!
ReplyDeleteChicharrones are fried pork rinds, and 4505 Chicharrones contain natural pork, sea salt, cane sugar, and the finest chiles. They are light and airy, salty and spicy, and literally melt in your mouth. I always have to remind myself to slow down, otherwise I’d finish a bag in seconds.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and will be differently trying some of your recipes. We found a great recipe in there a chicharrones which I tripled the chicharrones recipe. I have some great recipes from her. Thanks once again. They look so beautiful and delicious. I'm a chicharrones lover, but thankfully this isn't my brand. I appreciate it, and it's making me think about the chicharrones I purchase, too! My mother makes chicharrones for diwali each year and everyone in our family loves it.
