A couple of weeks ago I think I might have mentioned that Hangar One Alchemist Lance Winters cracks me up. And at that point I hadn't even noticed the label on his late harvest viognier. Cheeky boy!
Jaysus - why didn't he just go ahead and call it "better than sex wine" or something. I think I might see something in the sinuous curve of that flower on the front too...
B&P- Do you know where they get the wine for this? I know the label reads "JC Cellars" - but the JC Cellars site has a late harvest from Ripken vineyards and the one from Hangar One may be from Lodi . . .
I am sorry I have no idea. I checked the label again (I havent drunken it yet - saving for the right moment which would be tonight if I hadn't already decided to try mixing campari with white wine as suggested by Fregus Henderson). Maybe you should contact them at Hangar One and ask the question there. They are very very very nice people!
This is the first time I've seen this label. I love it. Kenneth - I don't know where the grapes are from. JC Cellars makes a fantastic Late Harvest Viognier from our grapes and we ocassionally do business with Lance and St George Spirits. We heard stories about this label getting developed and submitted. I think we would have heard if it was our grapes.

Some say food and sex go hand in hand. But this wine sure beats food out of the water! Too funny!
