Happy St. George's Day, Sam! So glad that you and Monkey Gland put the What's for Pud? event together. It's been a lot of fun!

ReplyDeleteThis looks such a beautiful feast Sam. I wish I had been at your house! I want the potted shrimp recipe!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, I want that green brush too! ;-)
Thanks for hosting a fun English event!
Wow - you've really gone all out! Love the fairy cakes and the brandy snaps.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your photo!
ReplyDeleteHi Sam,
ReplyDeleteThe food looks terrific!!
I love Acme Bread Co.!
I tried banoffi for the first time in Anguilla last December at this B+B operated by a woman from Australia and her 2 daughters. Such an awesome dessert... it was one of the highlights of the evening!! We sampled a 15 year old rum from Guyana w/ it. Great combo!
Hope you had a super St. Georges Day!
Bruno
My goodness, Sam, what a gorgeous spread! And what was that bit about these NOT being amazing styled photos? Stunning, my dear. And all this while you are working overtime--amazing!
ReplyDeleteHappy St. George's Day. I hope you enjoy it.
the photos look awesome, each and every single item looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteDid you make those cupcakes. It looks absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a brilliant event. It was so much fun contributing!
ReplyDeleteYour photos, as always, do look amazing. Now I want a party like yours!
Cpwtfcb'est magnifique bravo!
ReplyDeleteYou had me hooked right from the first photo with the McVitty biscuits -- I adore them. What lucky guests! Cheese is a fine addition, and potted shrimp is familiar from a Southern kitchen. This was really fun to "watch" as you pulled it together. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYum yum! And I'm with kudzu on the biscuits. We sell them at my place of work and I fight off the urge to bring home a package almost every other day.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the Pud event -- Chopper and I had a grand time creating our first ever boiled Brit pud!
Wow! Your hard work is evident; everything looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love your real time progress on flickr, what a great idea. You could show Londoners a thing or two - there was very little fanfare for St George around these parts!
ReplyDeleteThis picture is stunning Sam. I love the little 'ice cream fairy' (at least it's how i call her) over the fairy cakes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
Everything looks great! Wish I were there!
ReplyDeleteyou've just GOT to love your banoffi pie! will you share the recipe? It looks amazing and I can just about taste it...
ReplyDeleteHAPPY ST GEORGE'S!
