    Hi Sam,

    The food looks terrific!!
    I love Acme Bread Co.!
I tried banoffi for the first time in Anguilla last December at this B+B operated by a woman from Australia and her 2 daughters. Such an awesome dessert... it was one of the highlights of the evening!! We sampled a 15 year old rum from Guyana w/ it. Great combo!
Hope you had a super St. Georges Day!

You had me hooked right from the first photo with the McVitty biscuits -- I adore them. What lucky guests! Cheese is a fine addition, and potted shrimp is familiar from a Southern kitchen. This was really fun to "watch" as you pulled it together. Thanks.

  15. Yum yum! And I'm with kudzu on the biscuits. We sell them at my place of work and I fight off the urge to bring home a package almost every other day.

Thanks so much for the Pud event -- Chopper and I had a grand time creating our first ever boiled Brit pud!

  17. I love your real time progress on flickr, what a great idea. You could show Londoners a thing or two - there was very little fanfare for St George around these parts!
