Since I left the Movie business, for a job in Games, I am happy to have managed, by a whisker, to work on the Visual FX crew of one VFX Oscar-winning movie before I switched career path. Congratulations to all my ex-colleagues at ILM.

ReplyDeleteDunno if I'd rather be you or Depp in that picture. I'm straight, but Johnny can really turn a guy's head.
Then again, pleated skirt and gamer shirt are awfully tempting.
Congratulations, I love the animation.
ReplyDeleteHey, congrats on the oscar.
ReplyDeleteWorking behind the scenes on films is something i would love to do in the future. So i would love to pick your brains sometime!
Love the animation

Oh Sam, congratulations. You deserve all the honors that your adoring public can heap upon you -- whether they be for your professional skills, multiple talents or culinary wizardry! Much love...
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I have no idea how you made that so I'm quite in awe. Congratulations on the oscar win. I was excited for you when they announced it.
ReplyDeleteToo cute for words. And I love the skirt. Made me remember that in my wild partying days that I knew folks who worked at EA. That place sounded like too much fun.
ReplyDeleteI almost called Mike and Tony when I heard about the Oscar, to have them shout my congratulations to you.
ReplyDeletehey everyone - this was just made with a free online avatar creator - the only difference was this one was in 3d. You don't have to be skilled to use it -- just go and select your characteristics and a wardrobe, that's all. Johnny Depp just happened to be one of the available props.
ReplyDeleteI wish my legs were really that long!
Cookiecrumb - no worries - Michael and Tony (and others) were all shouting anyway.
I'm glad you did a post on this I was very tempted to do a bit of boasting by association on my blog but I thought you might not be too happy with me. Anyway great for the CV.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sam! Also, I know quite a few folks at EA Sports, and they are lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteArrgg...you should be in pirate gear too lass!
