christmas eve 2006 resolveI just opened my Christmas Present from my mum. Maybe I should have opened the parcel yesterday so I could have sent a sachet home with each of my guests. Thanks mum!

Here at Becks & Posh we would like to thank all our readers for sharing 2006 with us via this blog. We wish everyone the best of the season and a wonderful start to 2007. We are driving out of town today for more than a week. We are not sure yet whether we will be posting or not whilst we are away, but either way we hope to get back to the blog in earnest in the second week of January. Until then, I hope you all have a good one!

PS Thanks to all the wonderful friends (you know who you are), who joined Fred and me last night and helped make our Christmas so very special. We are so lucky to know you all.

BTW, in the US, "Resolve" is a carpet cleaner. I'll bet that's just the kind of party you threw: the kind that needs carpet cleaner.

  25. What a great pictorial record of new year's eve! And I had to laugh at the parcel of Resolve - we just got back from South Africa armed with a large bottle of Essentiale tablets to see us through any hangovers till we visit again ;-)

All the best for a fabulous 2007 (I love your resolutions, by the way).

Looks like it was a fun party Sam. Happy New Year to you and Fred. Thanks for the excellent contributon you make to the world food and wine blog community...and all the the extra time you put into Flood Blog S'cool. I've discovered a great replacement for the zip lock bag as a piping bag - a sqeezing mustard bottle.
