Happy Birthday Ellen!

It's my friend's birthday today

How inconvenient to have a birthday on blogathon day!

Can you believe I turned down the chance of her celebratory dinner at my favourite Coco500 this evening because of the Blogathon? Now that's what I call dedication to a good cause.

I will be meeting her for drinks at the XYZ bar in the W hotel though, moblog in hand. She likes to cook so we bought her my current favourite cook book. Fred snapped me wrapping it up:

Then catch up with me much later when I meet up with the wonderful and very supportive Amy, as we head out to hit some of San Francisco's late night dining spots. Who knows what is in store...?
